Prerequisites

this tutorial assumes that you have installed and activated a zec device to use as a feeder, a zixi broadcaster and a zec device to use as a receiver and that all of the above resources are connected to the internet for an explanation of how to install and activate each of the resources see zixi installation guide https //zixidocumentation atlassian net/wiki/spaces/zig you will also need to have a sample mpeg ts file available you can download a sample ts file ( clock ts ) for use in this tutorial from the zixi customer portal and save it on your zec/broadcaster in the "files" folder within the install directory access the portal here https //portal zixi com/ and then, in the documentation tab, download the “sample files” portal sample files if you haven’t done so previously, you need to first register for access to the portal and then subscribe to the “sample files” packages on the settings tab
