Output streams can be pushed to one or more Zixi Broadcasters and ZEC Receivers. You can specify multiple destinations (Broadcasters/ZECs) by adding them in the Links section. You can also split a single stream using multiple links and then bond them into a single stream in target Zixi Broadcaster using the Bond Links feature. For each of these links, you can specify the max bitrate that can be used. In addition, some links may be specified as backups. The backup links will be used if the bandwidth across all the non-backup links are not enough for the stream (i.e. if a non-backup link is not available, it will not use the backup). Only if the accumulated bandwidth of non-backup links is not enough, then the Broadcaster will stream to a backup link. 

Note: setting Max Bitrate on the input used for the output does 

 the bitrate at that value. The Max Bitrate parameter is not enforced as a hard limit. It is used as a guideline for transport, buffering, and pacing, but Zixi does not actively throttle or drop packets to keep the stream below this value. As a result, the actual bitrate may exceed the configured Max Bitrate, especially with variable bitrate content or bitrate bursts. To enforce a strict bitrate limit, this must be controlled at the encoder level or via external network traffic shaping/QoS mechanisms.

TAMS

(Differentiated Services Code Point) a 6-bit field within the IP header of a network packet. The 6-bit value (ranging from 0 to 63) classifies the type of traffic and its desired priority level.
