When a Channel is selected, the current data about the Channel is displayed in the right-hand pane

TAMS

(Differentiated Services Code Point) a 6-bit field within the IP header of a network packet. The 6-bit value (ranging from 0 to 63) classifies the type of traffic and its desired priority level.

DSCP

Refers to a transport stream packet that is 204 bytes in length, which is a variation of the standard 188-byte TS packet.

(Program Clock Reference) helps synchronize the decoder's clock with the encoder's clock. This synchronization is essential for maintaining audio-video sync and ensuring smooth playback.

DTS-PCR delta refers to the time difference between the Decoding Time Stamp (DTS) and the Program Clock Reference (PCR). Understanding this delta is important for ensuring proper synchronization and smooth playback of audio and video streams.

Traffic_Shaping

(Datagram Transport Layer Security) a security protocol designed to provide privacy, integrity, and authentication for datagram-based applications. It is essentially the datagram version of TLS (Transport Layer Security).

DTLS

(Network Interface Card) a hardware component—either built into a computer's motherboard or added as an expansion card—that allows a device to connect to a network, such as a local area network (LAN) or the internet.

(Constant Bitrate) a method of encoding audio or video where the bitrate remains the same throughout the entire stream. This means that the amount of data used per second is fixed, regardless of the complexity of the content being streamed.

Parameter	Description
Name	The name of the Channel.
Status	Shows the status of the Channel. Possible statuses are: Green – OK Red – error state Pink (shown together with a checkmark) – acknowledged error state Yellow – Warning (recovered from error event) Gray – pending/disabled The 🔕 icon next to a channel indicates that the Channel is muted, disabling notifications for error/recovery events.
Event	Shows all events related to this Channel that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections.
External ID	The ID that is used when integrating ZEN Master with an external ESNI/ESAM server. The ID is whatever you use in the external system to reference the ZEN Master object, though depending on what you are doing, it might serve different purposes: used by POIS to identify the source of SCTE-35 messages used by ESNI to identify the audience that is receiving the content Regardless, the External ID is the same whether entered in the SCTE-35 Manipulation settings or the Advanced settings, and you cannot enter different values in the two fields.
Proc. Cluster	The name of the Channel Processing cluster that is used for the Channel.
Broadcaster	The name of the Broadcaster that is used for the Channel.
Sources	The number of Sources assigned to the Channel and their statuses. For single Source Channels the name of the Source is displayed.
Type	The type of Channel, possible types are: Adaptive Channel – combines multiple Sources to create a unified HLS stream for output to an HTTP, S3, MediaStore, Azure Blob or GCP Target. Transcoded Channel – transcodes a single Source to multiple bitrates for output to an HTTP, S3, MediaStore, Azure Blob or GCP Target. Pass-through Channel – sends the Source to an output.
Targets	The number of output Targets and their statuses.
Alt. Path	Specifies if an Alternative Path has been configured or not. The Alternative Path is configured through the Broadcaster Cluster or the Channel configuration screens.
Tags	The Tag/s that is associated with this Channel.
Priority	Objects can be labeled as Priority so that they can be quickly found in the list of objects. This is helpful if you want to easily find these objects by sorting and filtering the list. Yes - the Priority checkbox of the Access Tag of this Channel has been enabled. No - the Priority checkbox of the Access Tag of this Channel has been enabled.
