The Details section shows the following information:

Parameter	Description
Type	The Type of Channel will impact on the information shown in the Details tab.
Failover
Processing Cluster	The name of the cluster that is used to process the stream.
Preferred Sources	The Sources that were configured as Preferred Sources. The channel will play the preferred source by default. If the preferred source becomes unavailable, it will failover to a Secondary Source (if one exists).
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
Content Analysis	Shows if the Content Analysis is enabled/disabled. Content Analysis shows errors detected in the audio and video content itself.
Automatically switch to Preferred Source	Shows if the Automatically switch to Preferred Source is enabled/disabled. If enabled, the stream will switch automatically to the configured preferred source.
Failover Mode	Specifies the configured Falover Mode. Options include: Stream Switch – ZEN Master treats the streams as different and does not try to merge them. If packets are missing from one stream, ZEN Master will switch to the alternate stream. If the payload is not binary identical it will fall back to Stream Switch. SMPTE 2022-7 Hitless Merge - if the Sources use RTP, and the RTP headers were maintained, Zixi can use the SMPTE 2022-7 to compare and merge the two streams. This option uses the sequence and the timestamp in the packets to compare which packets are missing, providing optimal results. Content Hitless Merge - if the Sources do not have RTP headers, Zixi will merge the streams using the MPEG-TS payload content itself. This method uses Zixi's patented DNA like sequencing algorithm to fill in the missing packets.
Zero Bitrate/Offline Detection Window	If the Failover Mode was configured as Stream Switch, this setting specifies the time frame with zero bitrate or offline state after which the system will perform the failoverbox.
Secondary Sources	The Sources that were configured as Secondary Sources. If the preferred source becomes unavailable, it will failover to a Secondary Source (if one exists). If there is no Secondary Sources of it becomes unavailable (while the preferred stream is still unavailable), Zen Master will failover to the Slate.
Slate Source	The Sources that were configured as Slate Sources. If there is no Secondary Sources of it becomes unavailable (while the preferred stream is still unavailable), Zen Master will failover to the Slate. In Live Events, there are some stages of the event, where the Slate is the source that will be streamed. For example, in Pre-live the Live Event is configured to select the Slate source.
Adaptive
Processing Cluster	The name of the cluster that is used to process the stream.
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
Log HLS Ad Markers	Shows if the Log HLS Ad Markers is enabled/disabled. If enabled, the system logs HLS ad markers for this Channel.
Mode	Existing Sources – uses existing sources Transcoding – transcodes the stream
Protocols	The stream protocol.
Timecode (EXT-X-PROGRAM-DATE-TIME) Source	Specifies the preference for inserting a timecode. Options are None, System time (default) or SEI Timecode
Segment on SCTE-35	Shows if the Segment on SCTE-35 is enabled/disabled. If enabled, SCTE-35 markers found in the source input will be used to segment the stream and the #EXT-X-CUE-IN/#EXT-X-CUE-OUT tags will be added to the manifest.
Drop first segment	Shows if the Drop first segment is enabled/disabled. For HLS workflows, this can help ensure smoother playback by eliminating non-keyframe segments that might cause decoding issues.
Ascending Playlist Order	Shows if the Ascending Playlist Order is enabled/disabled. If enabled, this option orders the master playlist in ascending order by bitrate.
Active Broadcaster	The name of the Broadcaster where the Source is located.
AWS MediaConnect Flow
Region	Select from the drop-down list the AWS region that you would like to use for this Flow.
MediaConnect Source	The Source that is assigned to this channel.
AWS MediaConnect Flow	The name of the AWS MediaConnect Flow. Click the link to open the MediaConnect Flow in the AWS console.
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
AWS MediaLive
MediaConnect Source	The Source that is assigned to this channel.
MediaLive Channel	The name of the AWS MediaConnect Flow. Click the link to open the MediaConnect Flow in the AWS console.
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
Pass-Through
Processing Cluster	The name of the cluster that is used to process the stream.
Target Broadcasters	The Broadcaster that has been defined for the channel. The following options are possible: Specific target - a specific target has been selected during configuration. Any - any target can be used. Primary Broadcasters only - only targets that have been defined as Primary can be used. Backup Broadcasters only - only targets that have been defined as Backup can be used.
Primary Sources	The list of sources that have been defined as Primary Sources.
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
Transcoded
Processing Cluster	The name of the cluster that is used to process the stream.
Events Configuration Profile	The Events Configuration Profile that was assigned to this Channel. Events Profiles consist of a series of rules that determine precisely how various types of Events are logged and what results they trigger.
Preserve closed captions	Shows if the Preserve Closed Caption is enabled/disabled. This feature preserves the closed captions from the source.
Log HLS Ad Markers	Shows if the Log HLS Ad Markers is enabled/disabled. If enabled, the system logs HLS ad markers for this Channel.
Ignore Transcode Thresholds	Shows if the Ignore Transcode Thresholds is enabled/disabled. If enabled, the system will override the Transcode thresholds for your Ingest Cluster (i.e. to allow use of full CPU/GPU and memory capacity).

Encoder	The encoder used for transcoding (decode and reencode processes)
