In addition to the Zixi resources that are fully supported in ZEN Master (i.e. ZECs and Broadcasters), you can connect other devices (that support reverse SSH tunnels) such as encoders and IRDs. You can establish a connection via SSH Tunnel which enables you to access the device's UI through ZEN Master and to configure the device to interact with ZEN Master.

There are two types of remote access configurations:

 – remote access configuration profile for devices linked to ZEN master that provide browser access directly to their local interface.

- Videon Edgecaster devices have a special remote access integration. Videon’s devices are managed via the Videon LiveEdge Cloud portal. This allows users to connect ZEN Master to the Videon cloud and choose a specific available edge device for each Remote Access entry.
