ESNI (Event Scheduling and Notification Interface) is an XML-based standard used in broadcast and streaming workflows to enable real time, rights-aware, policy-driven control of content delivery allowing customers to adapt their distribution based on licensing constraints, user entitlements, and geographic restrictions. Using ESNI, Zixi’s ZEN Master can respond automatically to scheduling rules such as regional blackouts, alternate content substitution, and live event timing to map appropriate content to distributions from the Zixi platform ensuring compliant and personalized content playout across devices and regions.
