The Remote Access screen displays all of the existing remote access profiles and information about the profile.

It is possible to edit the columns shown in the list. The main display shows following data:

When a Remote Access Profile is selected, the list pane is minimized and detailed info about the selected profile is shown on the right side of the screen. The info can be shown in in Tabs view.

 – configuration details of the remote access profile.

 - A log of the events that were generated in ZEN Master in relation to the selected remote access profile. To learn about viewing event logs in ZEN Master, see

– free-form text can be added with pertinent information about this remote access profile.

 pane includes buttons for taking the following actions on the selected instance:

(for instances in error state) – mark/clear the status of this source as acknowledged.

 – disables/activates notification for error/recovery events. Set the date and time when the mute will automatically be cleared by clicking on the down arrow and selecting 

 – enables you to edit the Zixi Receiver configuration.

– create an additional Remote Access based on the settings of the selected Remote Access.

 – disabling a Remote Access stops all activity for that device without deleting the configuration of the device.

 – deletes the Remote Access configuration.

TAMS

(Differentiated Services Code Point) a 6-bit field within the IP header of a network packet. The 6-bit value (ranging from 0 to 63) classifies the type of traffic and its desired priority level.

Refers to a transport stream packet that is 204 bytes in length, which is a variation of the standard 188-byte TS packet.

Traffic_Shaping

(Datagram Transport Layer Security) a security protocol designed to provide privacy, integrity, and authentication for datagram-based applications. It is essentially the datagram version of TLS (Transport Layer Security).

DTLS

(Network Interface Card) a hardware component—either built into a computer's motherboard or added as an expansion card—that allows a device to connect to a network, such as a local area network (LAN) or the internet.

(Constant Bitrate) a method of encoding audio or video where the bitrate remains the same throughout the entire stream. This means that the amount of data used per second is fixed, regardless of the complexity of the content being streamed.
