Viewing Existing ZEC
After the ZEC resource is created, it is added to the list of Zixi Edge Devices. The list includes all types of Edge Devices, the type is indicated in the Type column. It is possible to filter the list by selecting Add Filter and Type.

When a ZEC is selected, the list pane is minimized and detailed info about the selected ZEC is shown on the right side of the screen. The top of the Info pane includes buttons for taking the following actions on the selected Receiver:

The Info Pane includes the following details:
Parameter | Description |

CPU | The CPU utilization rate. |
RAM | The memory utilization rate. |
Uptime | The time period that the Broadcaster has been online. |
Type | The type of object. |
Tags | The Tag/s that is associated with this ZEC. You can edit the tag/s as follows: click the Edit icon. Then, delete the current tag by clicking the "X" next to the tag. Add a new tag/s by selecting one or more tags from the dropdown list. |
Open | Click to access the ZEC Broadcaster UI. |
Source IP | The Source IP of the ZEC. |
Version | The software version of the Broadcaster. Click the copy icon to copy the details. |
Location | The location of the Broadcaster. By default, the location is determined automatically based on the Broadcaster's IP. However it is possible to specify another location during configuration. |
Network | The Network in which the Broadcaster is located. The Networks are discovered automatically by ZEN Master using IP-to-location method. A network is defined as an ASN from a specific country and region/state. |
Events Configuration Profile | All the related events that have been generated by the system, such as connections, errors, warnings and disconnections. To learn about the data that is displayed in the Events tab see Events . Click Quick Report to generate a report of events related to this Source and download the .xls file. |
It is possible to add more columns to the list. If you want to view resources that were marked as Priority, add the Priority column and sort by it.
The list display shows following data:

Status | The connection status of the ZEC. Possible values:
The 🔕 icon next to a ZEC indicates that the Feeder is muted, disabling notifications for error/recovery events. |
IP | The remote Zixi Feeder IP address as seen by ZEN Master. |

CPU | The CPU utilization on the ZEC source machine. |
Uptime | The time period that the ZEC has been online. |

When one of the ZECs in the list is selected, the details of the ZEC, divided into tabs, appear at the right side of the screen.
The list display shows following data:

API Credentials | The username and password used to access the ZEC through the Zixi API in order to communicate between ZEN Master and the ZEC.

Source IP | The IP of the ZEC's input resource. Transcoded – means that the source is transcoded. |
Platform | The OS platform on the ZEC. |
Location | The location of the ZEC. |
Network | The ISP/ network of the ZEC. |
Version | The software version of the ZEC. |
SSH Key | The SSH key file used to connect the ZEC to ZEN Master. Click to download the SSH key file. |
Activation Key | Click on License Details to show the license details of this resource. |
Events Configuration Profile | The Events Profile that is applied to this ZEC. Click the link to view the profile in the Events Profile Rules screen. |
SSH Key | The name of the SSH key file. |
Platform | The OS platform on the ZEC. |
Deletion Protection | Indicates whether the deletion protection is enabled or disabled. The deletion protection prevents deleting the ZEC. To delete it, you will need to first disable the Termination Protection. |
Shows a list of all Inputs available in the ZEC, including information about their Status, Type, Source and Bitrate.
Shows a list of all Outputs available in the ZEC, including information about their Status, Type, Source and Bitrate.
A graphical representation of the CPU and RAM utilization of the selected ZEC, displayed over time. Click Open Incident to add a new or edit an existing incidents, see Creating an Incident Manually for more details.
This section shows a schematic diagram that displays the ZEC and its related objects, as well as the system objects (Sources, Channels, Targets) that relate to this ZEC and the relationships between the various elements.
A list of the events that were generated in ZEN Master in relation to the selected ZEC. To learn about viewing event logs in ZEN Master, see . Click Quick Report to generate a report of events related to this ZEC and download the .xls file.
A list if changes to the configuration throughout time. Expand each line to view the details of the change. Select Revert to discard this change or Revert All to discard all changes.
Shows free-form notes relevant to the ZEC.
