When you navigate to a list screen the list of instances is shown in full view. In this view, a column is shown for each relevant parameter and a checkbox is shown next to each instance, enabling you to perform batch processes, see 

You can adjust the pagination by specifying the number of 

 displayed per page. The default setting is 

which displays the optimal number of rows for your screen.

When you select an object instance the list becomes narrow, showing only the element name. Detailed info about the selected instance is shown in the Info pane to the right of the list. The Info pane can be shown either in 

 (with collapsible sections). You can return to the full list view by clicking on the "

In tab view, selectable in the top right-hand corner, information is organized by tabs. The information in each tab is displayed responsively to adjust for browser width.


In accordion view, selectable in the top right-hand corner, there are two columns of information panels, if browser width allows. The UI is responsive and the two columns will become a single column on narrow browser windows or mobile devices. Each information panel can be minimized and maximized with the ^ and ⌄  buttons on the top left of the panel. The min/max state of panels remains persistent while viewing other objects of the same type, Sources for instance. It will reset once you view other object types.

Time Addressable Media is a set of principles from BBC Research & Development (BBC R&D) which set out a practical approach for how to handle broadcast content throughout the media lifecycle from live to packaged content.

TAMS

(Differentiated Services Code Point) a 6-bit field within the IP header of a network packet. The 6-bit value (ranging from 0 to 63) classifies the type of traffic and its desired priority level.

DSCP

Refers to a transport stream packet that is 204 bytes in length, which is a variation of the standard 188-byte TS packet.

204B_TS_Packet

(Program Clock Reference) helps synchronize the decoder's clock with the encoder's clock. This synchronization is essential for maintaining audio-video sync and ensuring smooth playback.

Traffic_Shaping

(Datagram Transport Layer Security) a security protocol designed to provide privacy, integrity, and authentication for datagram-based applications. It is essentially the datagram version of TLS (Transport Layer Security).

DTLS

(Network Interface Card) a hardware component—either built into a computer's motherboard or added as an expansion card—that allows a device to connect to a network, such as a local area network (LAN) or the internet.

(Constant Bitrate) a method of encoding audio or video where the bitrate remains the same throughout the entire stream. This means that the amount of data used per second is fixed, regardless of the complexity of the content being streamed.
