the following updates will be included in the zen master june 13, 2023 release features the following new features were implemented in this release incidents are now available to non admin users • admins can mark incidents as public for all users • users can be designated as an incident manager allowing them access to all incidents o in previous iterations of zen master, incidents were only available to admin users o this update allows incident viewing privileges to be provided to operations users without the need to elevate users to full admins o in addition, the new incident manager user type allows a user to modify incidents including adding notes, annotations, closure, etc o the new user type can be added to new, or existing users additional improvements and changes the following additional improvements and changes were implemented in this release • exposed missing failover config options in failover channels o failover options are now available in failover channels • added optional pid mapping column to source and target lists o if a source or target uses a pid map rule, the rule will be listed here o this allows users to sort and filter by pid map rules and easily identify and find all sources and targets using a specific rule • added timestamps to kafka event messages o timestamps, which were previously present in the kafka entry metadata, are now added to the kafka entry payload • live events dashboard active/locked sources are highlighted • improved recovery time for zixi pull targets under some failure scenarios • added zm assigned broadcaster hostnames to broadcaster details page • zecs are now available in grids • reverting changes from change tracking will now display a restart confirmation when necessary • added segment path setting to http targets o zen master is updated to support the functionality previously available in the zixi platform o the path to the destination can be formed in one of the following ways ▪ full path • //? ▪ path in parameters • ? ▪ flat path • / ? • any "/" in path should be replaced with " " ▪ see platform documentation for further information o this option is available under the advanced section of the http target type • ui polish o cosmetic dark mode update o improved sorting of broadcaster by streams in broadcaster table o broadcaster/clusters listing selection is now persistent o broadcasters list table rows setting no longer resets on navigation o added feature guide to dashboard o trailing whitespaces in object names will now cause an error o clarified state column in incidents list o proliferation of copy to clipboard buttons o fixed issue with filtering on grid table view o editing an "unmanaged" zixi push source will display a warning that a config change is required on the client o api key copy is only displayed once zen master has retrieved the key from aws o general styling and ui cleanup bug fixes the following issues were resolved • automatic pulls of inter cluster sources now pull from the inter cluster source correctly • io servers will now maintain a fixed ed25519 host key after recovery • resolved rare issue where zm will report a reconnection error on a source/target that did not reconnect • fixed a validation error preventing creation of audio only transcoding profiles • thumbnails constantly refreshing on grid groups page • io server redirection always redirecting to private ports • incorrect nvidia/cuda driver version on aws amis for v16 broadcasters api the following updates were implemented in the zen master api • page count is now returned in failover channel list api
