The preview is played back directly from the Zixi Broadcaster and can be used to preview the stream before any Channel processing. The playback is only possible when the session is active. This means that you must be logged in to view the content.

You can choose between two viewing modes:

 – uses relatively high latency setting (4 seconds) for the Zixi protocol to provide very good resiliency for any network conditions.

 – uses low latency (500ms including VLCs latency requirements), for situations that require viewing the Source as close to real-time as possible. This mode can only be used when the Network supports that level of performance.

For Manual clusters with broadcasters that are configured with a private IP, you can select whether the private IP or public IP is used for viewing the preview.
