The global search feature enables you to search all objects (i.e. Feeders, Broadcasters, Receivers, Sources, Channels and Targets) in the system. This makes it simple to access data about objects in the system. The search results screen includes a link to view each object on the main screen for that type of object (i.e. view feeders on the 

 screen). For example, if you want to find out about the status and usage of resources in the United States you could type in "US" and all objects that have US in their names are displayed. You can then view data about each relevant resource.

The global search only shows results for names of system objects, as opposed to the local search box on specific screens which shows results for all relevant parameters.

DTLS

(Network Interface Card) a hardware component—either built into a computer's motherboard or added as an expansion card—that allows a device to connect to a network, such as a local area network (LAN) or the internet.
