the following updates will be included in the zen master november 30, 2021 release features the following new features were implemented in this release • added ability to define and view incidents on channels in zen master an incident is defined by a user selected time range and includes time/user stamped notes the incident view allows the user to select or “pin” multiple history graphs and event logs for objects in the channel and view them together on a single page synchronized to the time range for the incident the channel diagram is displayed as well on the same page an example is shown below • added diagrams to sources, feeders, and receivers channels and targets included diagrams previously • added ability to create mediaconnect sources from elemental link encoder devices • added support for failover based on tr 101 and cqa errors previously, the user could specify parameters for a rule for zero bitrate streams to trigger a switch to another source in a good state now the rules for that failover are expanded to include tr 101 p1 transport errors, frozen video, blank picture, and silent audio this feature applies to non identical sources merged hitless failover is not in being used broadcaster v15 0 is required additional improvements the following additional improvements were implemented in this release • added support for broadcaster v15 transcoding updates to nvidia cuda 11 4 and driver version 470 • added support for hrd buffer fractions in the transcoding profile • improved dtls redirection support • added sticky multi selection after an operation such as enable/disable or mute/unmute • added udp send errors to target graphs for udp, zixi pull, and zixi push • added disk usage column to broadcaster list in broadcaster cluster • added a broadcaster "restart required" confirmation when applying broadcaster configuration that will require a restart that results in a stream interruption • clarified status display of aws broadcasters terminated by aws • updated list of supported aws regions to include recently added regions • added disable checkbox for source analysis tr101 p2 in event profiles • added an alert when a source is connected to the wrong broadcaster in the same cluster bug fixes the following issues were resolved • fixed rist targets not configured correctly on broadcasters • fixed issue creating broadcaster sources with manual bonding • fixed issue with broadcaster losing virtual gpu after gcp maintenance event • fixed an issue causing zen master to try to create redundant target configs on the same broadcaster • fixed intercluster sources requiring a restart after an edit to apply the new configuration • fixed ‘sources create’ api endpoint requiring that an event profile to be specified • fixed aws broadcasters launching with no name • fixed dns redirect issue with srt targets • fixed issue with being unable to disable mediaconnect channels using automation • fixed issue with broadcaster restarting unnecessarily when applying broadcaster configuration • fixed an issue preventing broadcaster gpu usage from showing up in the broadcasters table • fixed issue with not reporting scte 35 messages with upid 0 "not used" • fixed issue with not cleaning up no longer required auto pulls • fixed issue incorrectly configuring pid mapping in some edge cases • fixed ui issues with pid mapping match pcr to video pid
