the following updates will be included in the zen master january 26, 2022 release features the following new features were implemented in this release • insights view in the intelligent data platform (idp) o infrastructure insights identify outliers among various operating parameters on zixi broadcasters, such as memory and cpu, that impact video delivery o channels insights identify network anomalies on sources and targets that impact video delivery • management of zixi edge compute (zec) endpoint devices more details on zec devices are coming soon • dark mode across whole zen master site • multi edit for tags and event profiles the user can now multi select objects and edit the selected objects to overwrite, add, or remove access tags the user can also multi select objects and update the event configuration profile used for those objects • cdi & jpeg xs sources and targets in aws mediaconnect flows • maintenance mode for broadcasters that prevents new streams from being assigned to that broadcaster this feature might be used in the following scenarios o scheduling a broadcaster to be taken out of service for maintenance or upgrade o adding a new version of a broadcaster to a cluster for testing and validation prior to enabling production usage o adding a broadcaster to a cluster where necessary configurations on the broadcaster, such as firewall setup, are still pending • primary/backup sources on pass through channels with source preference selection on targets additional improvements the following additional improvements were implemented in this release • updated transcoding channel output paths on hls origin servers to remain constant even when moving the channel between broadcasters or clusters • updated sorting by status to be consistent across all object types • improved time to first connection when using pull targets on clusters with multiple broadcasters • added alert on missing cea 608/708 closed captions on sources • added api key name to api logging for better visibility • added the display of active source to targets on diagrams and source type to sources on diagrams • added field for maximal dts pcr delta on transcoded cbr sources • added ffa authentication support for rtmp push sources • added support for selectable nic on rtmp pull sources additional improvements for use with v15 broadcasters the following additional improvements were implemented in this release • added indication on source detail page when rtp headers are included on zixi sources • added display of declared bitrate and hrd buffer size in tr 101 data • added radio selector to enable cbr by padding mode for udp/rtp and rist targets • added estimated vmaf history graph for sources • updated audio transcoding profiles to apply to all audio pids bug fixes the following issues were resolved • fixed multiple issues with diagram rendering • fixed scte reporting errors • fixed issue not being able to choose port auto select for rist pull source • fixed multiple issues when using monitor only sources as inputs for other sources • fixed issue with packet delivery % graph showing bitrate in % instead of kbps • fixed api timeout issues between zen master and broadcasters causing inconsistent states when configuring channels • fixed issue with scte35 graphs on sources not showing any data • fixed srt graphs showing bitrate in hours instead of kbps • fixed issues with diagrams not loading for users that have partial permissions on objects • fixed issue with pass through channels with no targets reporting missing source errors • fixed issue with events configuration profile is not being displayed on the cluster detail page or the broadcaster detail page • fixed issue with push targets to mediaconnect • fixed issue with mediaconnect pull targets only working for first connected device • added appropriate error messages for webrtc playback issues • fixed error when adding aws account • fixed issue with "target not found in cluster" errors • fixed “unexpected error” issue http target history graphs • fixed issue with missing alert notification emails
