the following updates were pushed to zen master during the month of march 2019 grid status display zen master now includes a grid based status display that provides a high density way to monitor channels as well as all other objects being managed by zen master the grid display is highly configurable, including how many objects to show on one page, how much information to include in the status box for each option, and what type of objects to display the example below shows a large number of channels on one page with only the channel name in the status box and with channels in error state sorted to the top additional details for a particular channel can be found by clinking on the channel name the next example shows a “penalty box” where only sources in error state are displayed with relevant details in the status box the next example shows multiple object types – feeders, broadcasters, sources, etc – displayed on one page to configure a new grid, select grids in the left hand pane and then click add grid next, provide a name for the grid and select desired parameters to show multiple grids on one page for multiple object types, select grids in the left hand pane and then click add grid group next, provide a name for the grid group, choose the grids you want to include, and select other desired parameters note that admin users can share grids to other users in the same zen master domain; these grids will show up on the public grids pull down grids defined by non admin users will show up on the your grids pull down nvidia gpu monitoring when using an nvidia gpu for transcoding, the details graph for broadcasters now displays usage of the gpu decoder pipelines, usage of the gpu encoder pipelines, and usage of the gpu cuda pipeline gpu memory consumption is now also displayed in the details graph broadcaster clusters in azure zen master now supports standard broadcaster clusters in azure support for nvidia transcoding broadcasters will be supported in a future release to run broadcasters in azure, click microsoft azure from the settings in the left hand pane and follow the displayed instructions minor improvements and bug fixes • fixed users without edit permissions getting logged out when attempting to edit notes • confirmation popup, on delete action, will now close only after the action is done • modified adaptive channels on aws clusters to default to 6 second segments to match the default on zixi broadcasters the default segment duration can be updated under advanced options when creating/editing a transcoding channel • reduced chance of false positive transcoded channel/source error reporting • fixed broadcaster bandwidth monitoring that was not counting udp outputs • fixed broadcaster warnings in aws clusters that were not escalating to errors
