This installation guide includes installation procedures for the following Zixi products on Linux and Windows environments:

- Zixi Broadcaster
- Zixi Edge Compute (ZEC)

Note: if you need to specify the temp directory for the Zixi Broadcaster installer, you can do so by editing the **broadcaster-info.xml** file in the Zixi Broadcaster directory.

This is necessary on Ubuntu systems where installing from the default /temp directory is blocked.
