* Speed – the network card speed * Duplex – whether the network card is full-duplex or half-duplex * MTU - the size of the largest protocol data unit (PDU) that can be communicated in a single network layer transaction. * PCI – the PCI slot number. * Driver – the driver that is installed. * Bonding – bonding allows you to send packets over multiple networks. Since one network may charge more than the other, you can set one network to primary and the other to backup; this way, all the traffic will be sent over the cheaper primary network and then fall back to the backup (if the primary is too congested). - Primary – sets this NIC as a primary network - Backup – sets this NIC as a backup network - Don’t use – disables this NIC * Routes – specifies the configured network routing for the NIC * Statistics – click to display network statistics for this NIC * Administration IP – indicates that the NIC is allocated for administration. At least one NIC needs to be used for admin. * Enable/Disable DPDK – in case of multiple NICs, it is possible to enable High Performance Networking (DPDK). Click to enable/disable DPDK | | **Custom link settings** | Select this checkbox to configure different link settings than the default settings. | | **Addresses** | Displays the current IP address that is configured for the link. You edit these settings by clicking the Edit (pencil icon) button. Click the '**+**' button to add another link. | | **DNS Servers** | | | **Use DHCP DNS settings** | Select this option to use the DHCP settings instead of the DNS. If not selected, configure at least one DNS server. | | **DNS1** | Specify the DNS address for the main DNS server. | | **DNS2** | Specify the DNS address for the secondary DNS server. | ### To Display the Network Statistics: ::::WorkflowBlock :::WorkflowBlockItem From the **Settings** page of the Zixi Broadcaster, click **Network** on the left-hand side.
