When a new version of ZEC becomes available, you will receive a new installation archive file (.tar.gz file) from your Zixi representative to upgrade your ZEC software. It is recommended to perform the installation within a "maintenance window" and notify end users that the streaming will be momentarily interrupted. The upgrade process may last a few minutes, after which the streams will be automatically resumed.

Downgrading from this release to previous versions is not possible through the web UI. Downgrading is still possible via the normal software installation mechanisms.
