If you have configured an Alternative Path through the Broadcaster Cluster or the Channel configuration screens, you can easily attach the Channel to the alternative path or back to the primary path.

## Attaching to the Alternative path

If the Channel has an active alternative path (path that was configured through the Broadcaster Cluster or the Channel configuration screens) you can attach the Channel to another Cluster.

**To attach a Channel to a primary path:**

In the **Channel Details** screen, on the upper right side of the Info Pane, the following actions are visible if you click on the three dots. When the **More Actions** menu opens, select **Go to Primary**.

The **Alt. Path Confirmation** dialog is displayed listing the selected Channel, the current Cluster (**From Cluster**) and the designated Cluster (**To Cluster**) to which you will be connecting the Channel.

If there are multiple Broadcasters in the designated Cluster, select Prefer Primary or Prefer Backup or one of the Broadcasters from the **Target Broadcaster/s** drop-down.
