Create report configurations specifying the type of report and configuring it's details. You will then be able to generate the actual reports based on these configurations.

When configuring reports, take into consideration that the more comprehensive the report is, the longer it will take to run a report build (i.e. generate a report). Factors that increase the build time include; covering a long period of time, highly granular results, inclusion of multiple objects.
