First, you need to create a remote access profile in ZEN Master. Then, you can use the configuration settings shown in ZEN Master to connect the device to ZEN Master using the device's UI. See the following section, [Connecting Device Using Remote Access](docId\:yE_STgIfceYw07VLvsSvS) .

**To add a Zixi remote access profile:**

In the main navigation, click **Remote Access**.

Click **+ Add**.
The **Create New Remote Access** window is displayed.

In the **Info** section, in the **Name** field, type a logical name for the Zixi enabled device.

In the **Tags **field, select one or more of the predefined Access Tags from the drop-down list.
Tags are used for access control. By selecting a Tag you are relating this Remote Access to that Tag. Tags are associated with certain roles (through the Users & Roles screen), and roles, in turn, are associated with users and user groups. If you would like to create a new Tag, see [Creating a Tag](docId\:YpM9tw81ap6nq8sTKv4Rd) .

In the **Events Configuration Profile** field, select from the dropdown list the profile that you would like to apply to this Remote Access. By default, the Default profile is applied.

In the **Configuration** section, in the **SSH Key** field, make sure **Zixi** is selected.

In the **SSH Key** field, select from the drop-down list one of the existing remote access keys to be used for SSH tunneling between the Zixi Broadcaster and ZEN Master.

Select a radio button to designate the manner in which the ZEN Master accesses the remote device. Options are:

- **Auto Detect/HTTPS** (default) – ZEN Master automatically detects whether the remote device uses HTTP or HTTPS.
- **HTTP** – ZEN Master will always use HTTP.
