The following updates will be included in the ZEN Master May 23, 2022 release.


Features



The following new features were implemented in this release:
• Re-architected ZEN Master monitoring infrastructure to support, in a future release,
higher frequency monitoring as well as monitoring of additional machine metrics from
the Broadcaster’s host system
• Added support for creating AWS MediaLive transcoding Channels
• Added support for custom ports for Zixi Push Sources and Zixi Pull Targets
• Added alert for low audio level
• Added a 'Termination Protection' toggle to Broadcasters, Feeder, and Receivers to
prevent accidental deletion
• Added dedicated detail page for Broadcasters similar to detail pages available for other
types of objects


Additional Improvements



The following additional improvements were implemented in this release:
• Set dark mode to be the default; light mode can still be enabled
• Added location and ISP data display on all objects when available
• Added 'Reset Stats' option when multi-selecting Sources
• Added an option to 'Force Delete' Tags when they are in use
• Added an option to set MTU on Sources and Targets, useful for situations requiring
different MTU such as AWS Wavelength Zone
• Added support for drag to scroll in diagrams
• Added option to select Source Preference on Targets not yet assigned to working
Channels
• Added filtering by client device type on Zixi Edge Devices page
• Improved sorting of event profile rules
• Improved security and performance in history graphs backend
• Improved IP to geo-location logic such that it will no longer conflict with manually
entered location
• Intelligent Data Platform (IDP)
o Added filtering for Channel Insights graphs
o Improved Incident save function to store full current state in the database for
easier sharing
o Improved Incident graphs to show local time instead of UTC
o Added health scores on Zixi Targets
• API
o Feeder, Receiver, and Broadcaster GET now returns API credentials
o Fixed page counts when using pagination in multiple API endpoints

Bug Fixes



The following issues were resolved:
• Fixed PID mapping on Zixi Sources from MediaConnect
• Fixed a rare Duplicate Access Key error when creating an Azure Cluster
• Fixed an issue where a Pass-through Channel could be created with an invalid Source
• Fixed global search not working with leading whitespaces
• Fixed issue with UDP Sources created when the selected port is already in use on the
Broadcaster
• Fixed v15 Broadcasters with NVIDIA GPU not working in GCP
• Fixed Source previews on Adaptive Channels showing more Sources than are actually in
the Channel
• Fixed incorrect missing Source error on Channels with no Targets
• Fixed an occasional UI crash when editing Targets
• Fixed localhost loopbacks created on Broadcasters when using monitor only Source with
Adaptive Channels
• Fixed target status in Targets tab on Channel details page
• Fixed confusing object name on propagated Source errors on Targets
• Fixed Automation when selecting a non-local time zone
• Fixed decryption for Zixi Pull Sources
• Fixed switching selected Channel on RTP Targets not switching the Channel
• Fixed Merge Mode on Failover Sources
• Fixed IO server Public Key not available for download
• Fixed 'Internal Server Error' when enabling some Targets with Automation
