the following updates will be included in the zen master june 21, 2022 release features the following new features were implemented in this release • live events and occasional use scheduling and management including new failover channels this feature is beta and hidden by default if you have live event and occasional use workflows, please speak with your zixi representative about getting a demo and access to the beta additional improvements and changes the following additional improvements and changes were implemented in this release • added new aws intel/amd instance types c6a large, c6a xlarge, c6a 2xlarge, c6a 4xlarge, c6a 8xlarge, c5n large, c5n xlarge, c5n 2xlarge, c5n 4xlarge, and c5n 8xlarge older instance types are now only visible by enabling the "show outdated instance types" checkbox • added support for youtube live hls http targets • added input nic selection on all relevant sources zixi pull, pid mapping, inter cluster, srt, and rist • added support for dvr playlists in hls targets • added location and network to broadcaster details page • added support for srt targets on aws mediaconnect channels • the licenses page has been removed see the zixi customer portal portal zixi com for license monitoring • the broadcaster link in diagrams now takes you to the broadcaster details page instead of the cluster bug fixes the following issues were resolved • fixed issues with objects immediately going into error or warning state on create or enable • fixed failover source not recovering from component source reconnection or enable/disable • fixed pid mapping not working on sources originating from aws mediaconnect • fixed multiple issues with aws medialive integration • fixed failover sources labelled as “hitless" when the merge mode is set to non hitless • fixed issue with billing codes not always saved correctly • fixed issue with dynamic target output names on broadcaster not matching zen master configuration • fixed issue with aws mediaconnect targets not displaying the correct url in the target column • fixed multiple issues with maps • fixed targets not assigned to adaptive channels showing up in the channel’s targets list • fixed reporting errors on targets that are working properly when using load balanced clusters • fixed broadcaster auto pulls not being cleaned up in rare scenarios • fixed broken export/print on idp incidents and not using saved time range • fixed issue with api for create rtmp targets not returning resource tags
