The following updates will be included in the ZEN Master July 26, 2023 release.


Features



The following new features were implemented in this release:
• Remote access support for Videon Edgecaster.
Unlike many remote access devices linked to ZEN master that provide browser access
directly to their local interface, Videon’s devices are managed via the Videon LiveEdge
Cloud portal. This update allows Users to connect ZEN Master to the Videon cloud and
choose a specific available edge device for each Remote Access entry.
o When adding a Video device to Remote Access:
\- Choose the new ‘Videon’ type.
\- Enter the Access Token generated via the Videon EdgeCloud interface.
\- Hit ‘Load Devices’ to complete the connection.
\- If the token is valid, the drop-down list will be populated with available Videon
devices.
\- Select the required device and hit ‘Save’.

o Once a device is added to Remote Access, it will appear in the available devices
list.
o Selecting and opening the device with provide access to Video EdgeCloud and
the selected Device:

Additional Improvements and Changes



The following additional improvements and changes were implemented in this release:
• Support for Verify Stream ID on SRT listener Sources.
o Adding ZEN Master support for the existing Broadcaster feature to verify Stream
ID on SRT listener inputs.
• Support Stream ID on SRT caller Targets.
o Adding ZEN Master support for the existing Broadcaster feature to include
Stream ID on SRT caller outputs.
• Static egress IPs for ZM.
o The ZEN master architecture has been updated such that all outbound traffic
from the ZM backend, such as data traffic provided to Kafka for example, now
use static IPs to allow customers to whitelist.

Bug Fixes
The following issues were resolved:
• Pull Targets unable to connect when providing a custom Streaming IP on the
Broadcaster.
• Not possible to edit Encryption setting on SRT Targets.
• AWS IAM role changes in ZM not propagating to AWS on Cluster update.
• UI showing Manually installed AgentZ 'Not Reporting' even though it's working and
reporting.
• Non-Admin Users unable to change their own password from My Account page.
• ZEC inputs not populating in ZM Source form.
• Editing a disabled Channel causes it to become enabled.
