new features the following new features were implemented in this release spts multiplex sources a new zen master source type is included, to support the broadcaster’s spts multiplexer (requires broadcaster v19) the result is a new spts stream with the interleaved pids spts source the user chooses the primary source and lists the pids they wish to keep pids are specified with a comma separated list source pid, source pid and can be optionally mapped with a ‘ ’ symbol source pid\ target pid pids must be entered, leaving the pids blank results in a broadcaster error source stream information is now displayed in target details the targets stream tab now displays the transport stream tree alongside the thumbnail source stream for target added option to ignore pids in tr101/cqa monitoring logo insertion on transcode profiles logo insertion in transcode profile logo can be enabled, via the transcode profile its position (in pixels or percentages) can be configured along with the alpha channel value the logo is burned into the resulting video added 'external link' to live events live event objects can now include an external link the feature allows event creators to link an event to an external system for additional event metadata and scheduling information etc external link for live event broadcaster version upgrade/downgrade from zen master manual broadcaster upgrades can now be initiated from directly within the zen master interface the installation tool is opened via the broadcaster’s top right menu upgrade/downgrade broadcaster once opened, the user can select a new version from the available list (as managed in the customer portal) hitting ‘install’ uploads the version installer and initiates the upgrade select new broadcaster version improvements and changes new monitoring rules for low video and low audio bitrates low bitrate thresholds are now definable in the event profile set source low bitrate thresholds new monitoring rules for udp send/receive errors on broadcasters source selection in forms now uses full tables with advanced filtering added lifecycle logging to tags added sar/dar, language, pts, audio channel info to stream information tree diagrams will now consolidate targets into a single box when there are many of them where it makes sense added copy to clipboard button to table cells and details tiles added option to show targets on source diagrams and downstream objects tab reworked srt passphrase to match srt functionality added scte 35 logging to failover channels added pass all pids toggle to transcode sources added dts/pcr delta configuration to ndi sources zen master will now log broadcaster versions on connection and change renamed multiplex sources to mpts multiplex improved failover source/channel max bitrate calculation and added an override option updated max bitrate monitoring use actual bitrate data instead of broadcaster status to alert on bitrate > max bitrate alert on max bitrate too high (max bitrate >= 40 mbps and actual bitrate < max bitrate / 8 zen master will now alert for invalid broadcaster configuration of mpts multiplex sources added x264 option to ndi sources added many missing configuration options to details and info panels added raw scte 35 hex column to scte 35 log tables implemented scte 35 support in kafka implemented error concealment on all relevant source types zixi pull, inter cluster, failover, rist, srt, udp/rtp, pid map, demux, spts/mpts, mux, hls, rtmp frame thinning is now a boolean configuration api change existing field is now treated as boolean instead of a number for v18 broadcaster the latency is set to 1000ms error message polish frame thinning is now a boolean setting to match v19 broadcasters on broadcaster version 18, this will default to 1000ms esni & esam esam no longer trying to switch on pts when there is no pts fixed pois latency not doing anything added error concealment support to pois loopbacks cleaned up 'no outputs' found logging updated config template file with more realistic defaults esni reworked switch on pts to apply policy on pts then switch implemented full support for iso 8601 durations added missing @duration to apply tags in media get response added version endpoint xmlns no longer required in 224 xml document targets will now prioritize channels with matching target broadcaster settings use audience id and audience namespace elements to math zen master targets
