### ERROR

Within the broadcaster software you get a "proxy not detected" error when clicking "New Upload"

### ISSUE

Zixi Video Accelerator Proxy is not installed.



### RESOLUTION

:::hint{type="warning"}
This option is only accessible by accessing the broadcaster UI directly (by IP Address) in Firefox. This option is not accessible when accessing the broadcaster through ZEN Master.

Install to your local machine from the Zixi Portal at [https://portal.zixi.com/](https://portal.zixi.com/)

Also enable the following in the **Settings **tab (file-transfer/downloads section): **Download**, **HTTP input**, and **Upload**.
