Low Bitrate



### ISSUE

The stream shows a bitrate problem: on the stream itself the error state reads "**Insufficient bitrate**" (or "**Zero bitrate**" if it is receiving nothing), while the corresponding alert/notification is labelled "**Low bitrate**". Check the bitrate for the stream and you will see it is receiving 0 or a very low bitrate.



### RESOLUTION

- Verify the state of the stream on the sender side - is it active, does it have the correct bitrate, are there any errors with the encoder.
- Restart the stream on the sender side
- Verify the network status on the machine hosting the sending software and the receivers network.
- Restart the machine on the sending side
- Verify the network is set to allow traffic from the sending Address and Port on the receiving side with the Low Bitrate error
