This quick start guide demonstrates a basic use case for transmitting a video file throughout Zixi Software components. In this example, an MPEG-TS file is streamed from a Zixi Edge Compute (ZEC) feeder to a Zixi Broadcaster and on to a ZEC receiver without applying any additional processing or advanced configuration options.

As part of the configuration of the components, you will use the following inputs/outputs types:

- ZEC (Feeder)
  - Input: File
  - Output: Push
- Zixi Broadcaster
  - Input: Push
  - Output: Pull
- ZEC (Receiver)
  - Input: Pull
  - Output: UDP
