This tutorial assumes that you have installed and activated a ZEC device to use as a feeder, a Zixi Broadcaster and a ZEC device to use as a Receiver and that all of the above resources are connected to the internet. For an explanation of how to install and activate each of the resources see [Zixi Installation Guide](https://zixidocumentation.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ZIG).

You will also need to have a sample MPEG TS file available. 

You can download a sample TS file (*clock.ts*) for use in this tutorial from the Zixi Customer Portal and save it on your ZEC/Broadcaster in the "files" folder within the install directory. Access the portal [here](https://portal.zixi.com/) and then, in the **Documentation **tab, download the “Sample Files”.

If you haven’t done so previously, you need to first register for access to the portal and then subscribe to the “Sample Files” packages on the **Settings **tab.
